Aden Binyam

Aden Binyam serves as the International Affairs Coordinator. Prior to joining Mayor Karen Bass’s Office she served as the Houselessness and Equity Programs Deputy for Los Angeles City Councilman Harris-Dawson.

Aden has worked overseas in Accra, Ghana, and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where she focused on advancing access to basic education and created a Youth Development Agenda in the areas of public sector governance .

Aden received a B.A in both Political Science and Africana Studies at California State University Northridge as well as a Masters in International Relations from the University of Concordia Irvine.

Aden was born and raised in Los Angeles, California . In her free time, Aden enjoys traveling and reading
